Beyond eating, drinking and sleeping, we find it difficult to envisage maintaining the motivation to do anything else every single day for ten years straight, which is why we have the utmost respect for CGI artist and illustrator Mike Winkleman, who spent ten years religiously creating new art. As part of his ‘Everyday’ series, Winkleman – also known as Beeple – has created a new artwork every day for the past ten years, and continues to add to his collection daily.

Over 3,650 days in, the artist reveals that it’s partly the momentous longevity of the project that keeps him going. After working on the project for two years, it was the momentum of working daily that kept him striving to improve as an artist while simultaneously keeping the feed fresh.
