It’s a pity these self-help books are fictional, because there are some we’re really tempted to crack open. These are the artworks of Johan Deckmann, a Copenhagen-based artist who is also, ironically, an actual psychotherapist.  Emblazoned across 1970’s-looking cloth-covered books, Deckmann’s witty one-liners will either make you laugh out loud or bawl your eyes out with their varying degrees of scathing satire, existentialism and humour. And while most titles skirt between hilarious and poignant, scrolling through the entirety of Deckmann’s work unwittingly takes its readers through a journey of self-reflection and soul-searching … sort of like a free psychotherapy session.
