Designers Linn Karlsson, Nina Klose and Jonathan Alonso Jonsson created a unique, sustainable and more convenient way of packaging flowers – for two seasons, no less. The student project, titled The Future of Flower Packaging, was commissioned by Swedbag, a Swedish company who create packaging for various shops and stores.
The designers used a prism-shaped carton board for their packaging, integrating a locking mechanism of popping a tab into a slot on the cardboard, as well as a handle that can slides easily through the conical holder. Aside from its sustainable packaging, they presented two prototypes: an open one for warm weather, and a closable one for colder temperatures. The carton features minimal prints and a simple logo emblazoned across the handle. Visit the project on Behance.
