This pool house by 42mm Architecture in New Delhi, India raises the bar for pool houses around the globe. Created as an extension of the client’s home, this concrete postmodern structure accommodates an indoor home theater, lounge and changing rooms, as well as two suites with toilets and dressers. Like the house’s exterior, the interior walls and ceilings are in bare concrete, save for the two towering wooden inserts that curve dramatically to the ceiling. Huge glass windows on all four sides frame the trees and greenery that surround this calming concrete oasis. Definitely a pool house that’ll be pretty hard to peel yourself away from.
