Having featured her London store exhibition in the past, Lucy Sparrow recently took her latest fully-felt convenience store Stateside with her temporary exhibition popping up in Manhattan at The Standard, High Line. While her original London store was titled The Corner Shop, her latest NYC bodega, in which everything is custom made from painted and sewn felt, is entitled 8 ‘Til Late and features a uniquely American take on the corner store staples.

Displaying a range of food and household goods from Doritos, tomato ketchup and Jack Daniels, to Brillo pads, Spam and Eggo waffles, Sparrow hits all of pop-cultures favorite convenience store brands in her signature style, with plenty of the goods going on sale to those lucky enough to stop by while the pickings weren’t too slim. For those who couldn’t get to 8 ‘Til Late, some of Sparrow’s limited felt products are available to buy through her web store.
