Confectionary marries with design to produce Complements: sweet, modular chocolates that stack together. Made by creative agency Universal Favorite as a gift for clients, the 3D printed chocolates utilize a classic modular system enabling them to double up to form delicious – and delicious looking – candy cubes.
“We get a lot out of pleasure from creating work that delights clients and their customers alike. It’s a feeling we wanted to create in our chocolates, so looked to create a sense of anticipation, and the unexpected – the kind of thrills all good gifts should deliver,” Universal Favorite say about the project.
Developed in tandem with St Leonard’s based Bakedown Cakery, the Australian agency tested flavors and color combinations to create a range that includes cookies and cream, pistachio, shortbread and watermelon. Unfortunately, we’ll just have to imagine whether they taste as good as they look.
