Tired of going down to the basement to fetch extra tables for his living room when having friends and family over, Oslo-based designer Marcus Voraa took matters into his own hands, creating the gorgeous roll-out table named @. The concept is similar to fold-out tables, but Voraa took the design level up a notch: the table length adjusts by turning a steel crank, allowing you to or extend or retract the narrow light brown beech panels to the desired length. Aesthetically, it’s a handsome furniture piece that would go well in any contemporary, open-plan setting… and from the looks of it, one of the most interesting rollout tables out there to date. We’re crossing our fingers it goes into production soon. In the meantime, check out the rest of Voraa’s work here.
