Designer Giuseppe Bessero Belti repurposes old kerosene lamps and turns them into slender, striking flower vases in his lovely collection Experimenta. Marrying the old and the new, Belti uses the glass part of vintage kerosene lamps as vases, and completes them with 3D-printed nylon containers that serve as a water-holding base. Attached to each other, they make a handsome, minimalist object that is as functional as they are decorative. Given the size of the glass lamps, only a few blooms can be displayed at a time but in this case, less is definitely more.
