HIMMEE is a new lighting brand launched by Timo Niskanen who, after toying with designing these lamps for a number of years, became fed up with trying to collaborate with other companies, and simply decided to go it alone.
Niskanen’s decision has clearly paid off, as HIMMEE has released a series of lamps which look simply stunning — akin to something that that OTHER Scandinavian furniture brand would release, only there’s no allen key to be seen, and chances are you won’t see the same lamp in just about every apartment you visit for the rest of your life.
For the first release, three product categories have been released — table lamps, floor lamps, and pendant lamps. Some of the designs wear their inspiration on their sleeve, such as the cheekily-named “Toad 1UP” table lamp, so-named after the ubiquitous Toadstool from Super Mario. They’re available to purchase directly through the website.
