Influenced by “alternate futures and parallel universes”, artist Jedediah Corwyn Voltz draws us into lilliputian worlds with his project Somewhere Small. Putting his prop-making expertise to good use, Voltz constructs miniature handcrafted tree houses around common houseplants, bonsais, succulents and cacti. Apart from the treehouse structure, he’s added some pretty impressive details to the quaint tree houses, including picture frames, rugs, jars and furniture. If you’re in LA, you’ll be able to view some of these tiny houses at the menswear store Virgil Normal, where they’ll be on display starting April 23rd.  For more of Voltz’s works, check out his website and blog.
