On the Road With Noir Gaazol

On the Road With Noir Gaazol

In a nutshell, Noir Gaazol is a touring concept store: a matte-black truck packed with clothing, accessories, art, music, workshops, and the irresistible smell of coffee and baked goods.

The duo behind the wheel are Antoine and Angela, long-time friends who decided to find an outlet for their love of all things creative and artistic. They officially hit the road in December 2014, and the partners eagerly look forward to driving all over France and eventually around Europe.

Always on the lookout for new and exciting products, Noir Gaazol carefully curate their selection sold in the shop: vegan shoes by Good Guys, parkas and bags by the Scandinavian brand Rains, sweatshirts by Hit the Road Jacques, embroidered jewelry by Maçon & Lescquoy. You’ll also find funky objects like the Instant Lab from The Impossible Project, beard soap by Le Baigneur, as well as magazines, books and vinyl records.

And since the truck is meant to be a meeting place where one can chill, relax and shoot the breeze with other like-minded folk, they’ve also incorporated various ephemeral events to the roster: the future holds various workshops, pop up projects, mini concerts and art/photography exhibits. And if you want a break from all the action, their mini coffee shop serves up Belleville Brulerie coffee, WAF beers, and homemade cakes.

If you’re as smitten as we are to the charms of the atypical Noir Gaazol, make sure  to keep tabs on its whereabouts via their website and Facebook.
