Paperscapes is Montreal-based studio Dear Human‘s attempt to recycle paper in decorative and functional furniture without it looking like a recycling project your child brought home from school. Local industry waste morphs into stools, tables, dome lights and tiles, which end up looking very much like cement furniture. Led by founders Jasna Sokolovic and Noel O’Connell, the studio constantly aims to “offer an alternative perception to overlooked everyday landscapes by revealing the hidden potential of places and objects” – achieved, as you may agree, in this eco-friendly project.
