Located at Norway’s Skjervsfossen waterfall, the small building, built by Bergen architecture studio Fortunen, performs the impressive duality of both blending in with the natural beauty of its environment and providing a truly outstanding piece of architecture. Enhancing the area’s beauty, the grey block is clad in local stone to ensure its connection to the landscape around it.
Located a short distance from the waterfalls, the building sits flush—pun intended—against the river and directly opposite a rocky cliff face, providing users with the sights and sounds of the picturesque locale while they take care of their business.
