The range of home fitness devices produced by Kenko look more like exotic wooden sculptures whittled by a Japanese artisan than something to do push-ups with. And that’s exactly the look this Berlin-based design studio is going for: Sleek and minimalist home gym equipment that can blend in beautifully in a home setting, instead of the usual garishly-colored plastic ones we usually shove into a cabinet once we’re done using them.

Made of natural materials like wood and cork, their range includes dumbbells, expanders, abdominal rollers, and massage balls and sticks. Their simple geometric forms, tasteful and discreet, pass them off as sculptural objects at first glance. They may very well be the first set of arm weights we’d actually be glad to show off to friends!
