Ludovic Zuili is a cinematographer who had been keeping a journal of his film photography from 2012 to 2015. After several years’ hiatus, he’s decided to revive the project – an artistic renaissance that we wholeheartedly approve of.
The project is named ARAW, which stands for a roll a week. The concept is to publish the entire roll online, a daunting thought when you consider how unforgiving the film camera can be. But the transparency is commendable, as are the images he regals us with each week: lovely travel snapshots, candid portraits of friends and family, or just the banal details of a normal day… an addicting photo journal that we guarantee you’ll be looking forward to weekly, just as one awaits a roll of film to be developed.
Visit ARAW, and discover more of his commercial work here and on Instagram.
