Ever get the feeling that someone, somewhere is watching your every move? Well, that’s exactly what artist Jakub Geltner wants you to think with his urban art installations, Nests. Taking a jab at issues of privacy and surveillance, Geltner arranges clusters of satellites and security cameras in full view, an unnerving sight that will make anyone within distance squirm.
There are currently 7 variations of Geltner’s urban installations. He’s placed them on ocean rocks, along waterfronts, on church facades and abandoned buildings in countries like Denmark, Czech Republic or Australia. They aren’t exactly the subtlest of artworks, but then again, that’s entirely the point.
