The House of the Infinite by Alberto Campo Baeza

“On a marvelous place like a piece of early paradise, at Cadiz, we have built an infinite plane facing the infinite sea, the most radical house we have ever made,” says Alberto Campo Baeza about the House of the Infinite in Spain, and a look at the photos below prove that it is a fitting description indeed. Like a jetty straddling the sea, the house’s roof seemingly stretches from land straight towards the Atlantic, bare except for a stunning rooftop pool. The use of travertine stone for the home’s structure is a nod to the architect’s Roman heritage. Beyond its imposing structure is an airy interior living space with  an abundance of natural light thanks to a generous smattering of windows on each side of the home, framing the infinite beauty of the ocean beyond.
