If the future of sustainable living means fitting ourselves into micro houses to reduce our impact on the world around us then sign us up for one of the new tiny houses by Heima Architects. Measuring a mere 25 square meters, the comfortable studio apartments are a testament to what can be done with limited space. Located in Lithuania’s capital city Vilnius, the studio’s set of four micro studios each includes a full kitchen, bed/bedroom that folds away into a walk-in wardrobe, a living area and a bathroom with full-sized bathtub.
Offering a creative solution to the lack of space available in urban areas, the studios are a comfortable alternative to cramped single room flat shares that many are forced to make do with. In Heima Architects’ mind, even a mere 25 meter squared becomes an aspirational apartment far greater than the sum of its floor space. More info here.
