Norwegian designer Stian Korntved Ruud hails from a family of wood lovers, and naturally the material is ever present in his artistic explorations. Ruud dedicated the entire 2014 to 2015 to his Daily Spoon project: 365 days’ worth of unique, hand-carved spoons, using different types of wood. His efforts to “challenge and explore a spoon’s aesthetic and functional qualities” surely paid off: the collection is a visual delight that will inspire you to start your own 365 project as well.

The Daily Spoon project is featured in Design 360° Magazine’s February 2017 issue. See more of Ruud’s work here and on Instagram.
