French artist Christophe Guinet, also known as Monsieur Plant (previously), has once again merged nature and pop culture in a series of sneaker-shaped sculptures that are covered entirely in natural materials.

Using bark, moss, petals, flowers, wood and other environmental materials, he intricately covers up entire pairs of sneakers and transforms them into living works of art that, though short-lived, can also be worn. He creates “meticulous projects where our icons are rethought in the slightest detail, where every plant or seed is deposited with dexterity, and ally both by realising poetic and contemporary projects.”  See more of his work here.
