We’re utterly charmed by the series Don’t Play with Food by Italian artist and illustrator Lucia Calfapietra, where tiny beings lounge, ski, swim or tee off on giant plates of food or drinks. Known for her use of strong colours and simple shapes, Calfapietra has built an impressive portfolio of work that includes book cover designs, magazine illustrations, and numerous children’s book illustrations.
