Encircled by natural elements that prompt an atmosphere of zen-like tranquillity, the AM House has all the makings of an ideal secondary residence. Bordered on two sides by a lake and surrounded by the property’s lush gardens, the dwelling was designed to commune with nature at all times.

The home is composed of five separate blocks that convene under a thatched roof commonly used in Vietnamese homes. With floor-to-ceiling walls designed for indoor-outdoor living, the interiors profit from natural ventilation and natural light. The water feature acts as an eco-friendly element that reduces the heat during hot summer days.

Located in Vietnam’s Long An province some 45 minutes away from Ho Chi Minh city, AM House was designed Nguyen Huh Duysen of AmDesign Office.
