He’s already mesmerised us with plumes of ink blossoming in water – now Alberto Seveso is back with his newest project, Sandance – an intriguing series of sand taking on eerie forms and captured as a moving mass. Thrusting sand into the air and immortalised against the blue skies over the beaches of the Canary Islands, Sardinia, Portugal and Italy, Sandance is almost reminiscent of the childhood game of making out objects from cloud patterns; a reminder of how a little imagination can produce overwhelmingly poetic results.
Seveso’s artistic roots started at a young age with a fascination for skate deck graphics and CD cover art. His professional portfolio shows off various collaborations and contributions with brands like Adobe, Niko, Sony, National Geographic, Apple, Lenovo, Disney and more. The Italian illustrator and digital photographer is currently living and working in United Kingdom. More of his work on his website and Instagram.
