Photographer Mahnoor Malik works between the genres of travel, documentary and photojournalism. Born in the US from Pakistani immigrants, cultural diversity plays a huge part in her craft, her vivid imagery seeking out the similarities across different cultures. Influenced by various environments, Malik associates different cities with specific textures, colors, emotions and tones, creating a personal connection between herself and a certain place.
Splitting her time between New York and Rome, where she works as a United Nations consultant, Malik continues to document her adventures through striking visual narratives that allow us, her audience, to travel vicariously along with her.
