Located within an exclusive development in the Mexican city of Queretaro, Casa Campanario displays a serene escape from the hustle of the urban environment.
Created by Mexican firm Perez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados with the help of renowned architect Alfonso de la Concha Rojas, the 3,660 square foot home takes siting restrictions in its stride to present as a dreamy combination of concrete and wood. The minimalist, somewhat brutal concrete shell of the large family residence is softened by the addition of a striking wooden exterior that covers the second level.
A flowing open layout directs views towards well-positioned, floor-to-ceiling walls of glass that slide back to open onto the manicured gardens of the compact outside yard, instilling Casa Campanario with the lightness of seamless indoor/outdoor living.
