After many years in advertising and numerous award-winning campaigns under his belt, creative director Nick Frank took the big leap to photography in 2013. And a scroll through his portfolio shows that the decision was worth it: His albums showcase his innate ability to move from one genre to another with ease, his creative aesthetics and impeccable composition always on point.
Shooting for reputable clients including Spiegel, Wired or the New York Times hasn’t stopped him from pursuing personal projects. The series Tomorrowland casts the graphic lines and shapes of Valencia’s Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias to the spotlight. Frank captures the Santiago Calatrava-designed structure’s most amazing details in a dramatically minimalist fashion.
