These charming, rustic guest houses were designed by Studio YOD for Relax Park Verholy, a spa-complex nestled in a pine forest in Ukraine’s Poltova region. To keep its surrounding environment as intact and untouched as possible, Studio YOD used lightweight metal frames for the houses’ structures, which they mounted on a screw base and raised one meter from the ground. Nature can be enjoyed without leaving the cabin thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass facade. Veneered oak was used for the walls, and when the sun goes down, energy-saving diode lamps bathe the space in a warm glow. The decor is minimal yet tasteful, dotted with essential furnishings, abstract paintings and patio furniture on the terrace.
