You know how sometimes you absolutely feel like bottling a scent? Scentiment, the creation of Dutch designer Teddy Schuyers, allows you to do just that.

It’s a sobering fact that while a bottle of Chanel No. 5 can fetch up to €90 in a store, the scent itself only costs €2.13 to make. With this in mind Schuyers set out to design a bottle-your-own-scent set, allowing you to distill fragrant oils from natural ingredients like orange peel, pine needles or flowers. Once distilled, you can mix and match to your heart’s (and nose’s) desire, personalizing scents to suit your mood and feelings.

The Scentiment kit comes with the necessary glassware, flasks, condensers and a pastel-colored stand that will make the distilling process look less like a science class experiment and more like an artistic performance. Visit Schuyer’s website for more of her amazing design work.
