The pool-like tiles and vibrant pink and green walls of the burger chain Bun in Turin, Italy hits all the right notes for its millennial and generation Z clientele: the space is punchy, invigorating, and undoubtedly Instagram-worthy. Credit goes to Valencia-based studio Masquespacio, who sketched out a combination of materials and colors in 3D before settling on one that would appeal to a younger audience.

The dining areas branch out to either side of the sage green ordering bar. To its left is a pink seating area with semi-privatised arched booths decorated with gold accents, terrazzo steps and circular benches.

Opposite this space is a seating area which was made to look like a swimming pool with blue tiled walls by Spanish tile store Complementto and a couple of pool ladders hanging on the walls and booths. A row of round wall accents decorate the upper part of the walls, mimicking underwater pool lights. The entire ceiling is covered with a shimmering reflective surface, setting off a truly unique and immersive dining experience.

This is the second Bun branch designed by studio Masquespacio. Visit their website and Instagram to see more of their projects.
