The Mix-and-Match Concept of Jigsaw Cuit Elevates the Snacking Experience

While most people would admonish food play, a young design team hailing from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts are encouraging it with their award-winning design for Jigsaw Cuit: a mix-and-match concept of biscuits and a choice of sweet and savoury accompaniments guaranteed to elevate the snacking experience.

Designer Feng Zhe, together with OuYang Ling and Wu Weili, conceptualised four common snack items – chocolate, soft candy, cheese and cream – to fit into biscuit with a pre-cut hole, allowing everyone to choose, create and enjoy their perfect snack combination. The packaging features a round box containing all four flavours, which can be slotted into the hole of the bigger biscuit box, perfectly mimicking the interactive snacking experience.

Jigsaw Cuit has garnered the attention it deserves, winning Silver at the European Product Design Award 2019, A’Design Award Winner in 2019, and RedDot Award’s Best of the Best in 2018.
