Given the dark cloud that continues to float over us in the shape of the pandemic, it can be hard to remember to look for the silver linings. One thing we can appreciate is that the sights and sounds of nature thriving in our cities as enforced lockdowns cut traffic and pollution from streets were most welcome. Attached to that decluttering of the urban environment is the hope that we may readdress way we use our streets with an increased push for inclusive city cycling – which is where Biomega’s sleek new EIN bicycle trailer comes in. Designed around an ultra-light, weightless system that takes the strain out of towing your kids, the trailer enables a family to travel together without resorting to the car.
This single wheel trailer has an electric motor that propels the rear carrier along with the bike, removing the sluggish, weighty feel of traditional trailers. Two child seats can be easily locked in and out of the trailer, allowing it to become a cargo transporter or kids’ taxi. The Biomega EIN weightless bike trailer is currently being funded for development via Indiegogo and has already smashed its target.
