Planning to see the Northern Lights in Iceland? Make sure you’ll be seeing it from the Panorama Glass Lodge, which is probably the comfiest place to watch the mind-blowing light show. Situated 30 minutes from Reykjavik, this family-run lodge boasts of a glass-encased bedroom that offers magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from three sides (and if you’re lucky, you can probably spot sunbathing seals or whales in the fjord from the beach).
The lodge comes equipped with a small kitchen, a rain shower and other basic amenities. It even has an outdoor hot tub. Location-wise, the lodge is in a pretty remote area, so you’re all set for privacy.
And if you’re planning a trip in the summer, not to worry: it’s the perfect place to enjoy the midnight sun as well. Since there is only one lodge at the moment, it’s best to contact them for a booking, which you can do via the Panorama Glass Lodge site or Facebook.
