From afar, this towering structure looks like another daredevil carnival ride, but those with a fear of rollercoasters will be pleasantly surprised to know that The Sky Walk allows people to get to the top at their own leisurely pace… on foot. Built by Fránek Architects near the Dolni Morava village in the Czech Republic, The Sky Walk towers 1116 meters (3661 feet) above sea level and offers breathtaking 360 degree views of the nature that lies below. The wood and steel walkways gently slope upwards and are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers. But don’t dismiss The Sky Walk as a roller coaster for the acrophobic, as it’s got some thrilling surprises up its sleeves: you can get back to the ground by taking a 101 meter (331 feet) slide. And the more daring can lie on a net that stretches across the structure’s highest peak.
