We never tire of the photographs of Ludwig Favre – his shots of a drizzly NYC Chinatown featured here in the past – his shots of the American landscape resonating beyond the mere aesthetic pleasure of his composition. In this project, a walk around New York City after dark led to a collection of images that capture a range of iconic neon landmarks, either synonymous with NYC or America as a whole. From Radio City Music Hall to the New York Times, Katz’s Deli to McDonald’s, Favre shoots the bright lights of the city that never sleeps.

Favre has travelled the world shooting for personal projects and a range of international clients, but his American landscapes remain a specialty that have taken him from New York to Oregon. His fine art prints are available here and you can check out more of his work here and on Instagram.
