Architecture and design studio UUfie’s treehouse-inspired Lake Cottage along Canada’s Kawartha Lake takes our breath away, and we’re sure you’ll feel the same way too.
The smart construction of this A-frame cottage makes it seem roomier than its floor area of 65 square-meters, with its high ceilings and abundance of light via fourteen windows and skylights dotted around the main living area. The architects also made it a point to use local and sustainable materials, which creates an extremely cozy ambiance. But perhaps the most impressive feature of Lake Cottage is its protected outdoor terrace completely covered with mirrors, which seamlessly blend the surrounding landscape into the home’s structure.
