Russian artist Petro Wodkins pays tribute to collectors of porcelain busts around the world with Sound of Power (SOP), a baffling melange of classical figurines and audio. The series will feature “powerful people who, in their own way, played the world like instruments and made countries and continents alike march to the beat of their metaphorical drums.

That said, who better to kick off the series than Vladimir Putin? “His distinct facial characteristics and piercing eyes turn this complex man into a human and powerful speaker,” says Wodkins. Each bust is individually cast, polished, and integrated with a 20-watt bluetooth speaker in its own wooden stand. Handcrafted in Sweden, a limited edition of 100 “St. Vladimir” busts have been produced (and sold out), but a preorder option is available. Dig deep into your pockets if you absolutely want one to grace your living room… each goes for €1,111.
