Built on the shore of a Finnish lake, the stunning Pyramid House by Paolo Caravello of VOID Architecture is a contemporary home that establishes a strong connection with the beautiful and natural features of its location.

The wooden building takes on a pure geometric shape, built with traditional materials such as timber and spruce planks. A special glass observatory sits at the very top of the structure.

“The early choice of developing the design around the pure shape of a regular pyramid gave us the opportunity to explore the connection between a clearly man-made object and the inspirational beauty of the site. It was a process of balancing divergences and affinities,” states Caravello. See more of VOID Architecture’s projects here and follow them on Instagram.
