Architects RVO Studio put emphasis on space, texture, light and the surrounding environment in designing the Sundaram House, a three-storey home and guesthouse in San Pancho, Mexico. Contrasting materials such as wood, concrete and brick were combined to create a visually engaging space.
The residential part houses a vast living hall, dining room, an outdoor cinema and a covered terrace with a pool, while the guest area enjoys privacy and exclusiveness via an alternate entrance leading to their own private garage, outdoor kitchen, spa, pool and terrace. Extensive open areas both indoors and outdoors allow inhabitants to relish in the vacation vibe offered by the balmy tropical climate of San Pancho. “Sundaram House is exclusive and with character,” the architects state. “It is architecture that successfully recreates the will of a great life by the sea.”
