Vincent Schwenk is a Hamburg-based multidisciplinary designer with a primary focus on motion direction and 3D animation. Having studied communication design at Augsburg, he’s acquired a well-rounded background in all kinds of media and photography. Through programs like Cinema 4D, Octane and Redshift, he explores the boundaries of texture, lighting, renderings, materials and motion for commercial and personal projects.
Schwenk has collaborated with an impressive list of clients and agencies – Nike, Toyota, Opel, Telekom and Eiga included – but keeps himself up to date with the constantly evolving world of 3D by creating short animation clips for his own pleasure, which he calls ‘visual workouts’. These clips, posted on Instagram, serve as references for future client work while keeping his ideas fresh and innovative. Lately he’s been exploring the world of virtual reality after getting himself an Oculus, coming up with impressive renders of VR blobs that look like elements from another world. Enjoy his animation clips and VR works below, and see more on his website.
