At just 19 years old, Australian photographer Sam Johnson has already developed his own style, creating images that hone in on normality and add subtle hints of surrealism to everyday scenes. Currently based in London, Johnson started taking photography seriously at the age of 13, initially seeing the form as an added outlet of creativity to sit alongside skating at a time during adolescence when hanging out at local skateparks was a part of his process.
Inspired by everyday scenes that he injects with his own dreamlike quirks, Johnson has already established a following, who come for the shots that use careful composition to establish surrealism and off-beat humor in heavily saturated colors. Check out more of his work at samjsn.net.
