Like a paused frame on a movie’s most tension-filled moment, British photographer Nicky Hamilton can deliver entire storylines in one shot with ease: his photographic series The Lonely Man is proof. Clearly the man has talent — not surprising for someone who used to be the Head of Art for renowned advertising agency M&C Saatchi. He effortlessly maps out complex emotional narratives in a single frame, with the help of models who broodingly pose against elaborate sets that Hamilton actually built himself. It took around 3 months of careful sketching, planning and set-building and  for the photographer to execute the final shot and as you can see, the meticulous work paid off.
