Is it hot in here or what? Viennese designer and multi-disciplinary artist Alper Dostal creates a series of digital visualisations that depict a museum curator’s worst nightmare: art masterpieces melting due to the lack of airconditioning. Titled Hot Exhibition, Dostal’s renderings show us the excruciatingly slow destruction of the most famous works in the art world – Magrittes, Dalis, Mondrians – reduced to colourful paint puddles on the museum floor. It’s a horrible thought, really, but Dostal pulls it off so well that there’s a part of us that almost wishes to see it happen. See more of Dostal’s work here, and follow him on Instagram.
