With fantastic views of Vancouver’s English Bay and North Shore Mountains, the Vancouver House is a bespoke penthouse designed by Leckie Studio as a balanced environment best suited to everyday routines, social entertaining, and a canvas to display its client’s collection of art.

With the interiors groomed in a dark material palette of American black walnut and blackened steel accents, the penthouse benefits from natural light via the generous glazing, particularly from 270-degree views from the living, kitchen and dining areas. The home’s pièce de résistance is an open-air glass atrium with a vertical garden extending to the second level up through the unit’s roof terrace, illuminating the spaces oriented around it. On the lowest level, the kitchen opens up to the dining and living room, the latter dominated by a sleek, modular, and multi-directional couch supporting guests’ various postures and orientations. A half-turn open stairwell, lit overhead by a copper-laced Bocci lighting installation, leads to the private areas and master suite.

Finally, a personal elevator opens up to a 168 square meter (1800 square feet) roof deck furnished with a hot tub, outdoor shower, outdoor garden, kitchenette, and plenty of seating, making it the ideal zone for entertaining friends and family in an open-air setting.
