The Intriguing Photography of Giuseppe Palmisano

We’re very intrigued by the works of Giuseppe Palmisano, a photographer from Bologna, Italy who also goes by the name iosonopipo on the interweb. The images he creates sears into our memories: women lifelessly draped over furniture, body parts sticking out from behind potted plants or roadside bushes, masked women huddled on a couch. His conceptual approach to portraiture unites absurdity, melancholia and mystery … a concoction that makes his images as unforgettable and compelling as they are.

Palmisano also creates music and videos, and holds various art performances that are in line with his artistic vision and aesthetics. See more of his work here, and follow him on Instagram.
