A symbol of slow living, the Wood Burning Hot Tub is the first product launched by Goodland, a Canadian studio focusing on minimalist, design-forward outdoor products for the cabin, cottage and home.

The sustainable soaking tub is a meaningful take on the whole bathing ritual experience, guiding users to engage in a hands-on approach of drawing a bath, from cutting and gathering wood to heating up the water. The entire process rekindles the connection between the mind, body and nature, offering a sense of achievement in a world where the convenience of technology overpowers the power and poignancy of simple rituals.

“For so many of us, it’s easy to let work and success take priority over slowing down,” says founder Craig Pearce. “Goodland was created to encourage us to all find pause and immerse ourselves in the natural world, which is something that we don’t do enough of.”

Goodland is Pearce’s second venture following his successful home furnishing brand Union Wood Co. The upcoming collection includes bath accessories, an outdoor oven and a bird feeder, all of which are crafted in Canada and designed to emphasize quality and essentialism — the Goodland ethos.
