Florent Tanet’s Equilibrium series keeps us on the edge of our seats

    Categories: Photography

French photographer Florent Tanet‘s latest series, Equilibrium, has me holding my breath as matchsticks, wine glasses, and knives battle it out with the toughest contender of all — gravity. Commissioned for Feelings Magazine, Tanet collaborates with art director Arthur King in exploring the subject of stability using everyday objects. Inspired by the classic book La Science Amusante by Tom Tit, the said objects find a point of balance despite the precarious and awkward angles they find themselves in. And the best part of it? Absolutely no Photoshop was involved in this great balancing act. Check out more of Tanet’s work here.
