Sink Into the Ultimate Cocoon Reading Chair

    Categories: Design

In lieu of the perfect reading nook in your home, turn to the Cocoon Lounge chair, a modernist inspired piece that skirts the line between design and architecture. Given that it has been designed by the Danish architect Kevin Hviid and designer Martin Kechayas, it seems only natural that both the disciplines of its creators should be found in the contoured lines, striking structure and classic materials of the chair.

Attempting to create an instant contemporary icon is no easy task, but the rattan wings of the bathtub upper, that pop of chunky cushion, turtle shell fabric on the reverse and the effortless beauty of its curves give the Cocoon Lounge every chance. An homage to 1960’s modernism, it’s a playful, yet serious addition to any home or public space.
