While most movie-buffs are happy to watch and then re-watch their favorite films and TV shows to get their kicks, there are others who take their response to the next level. Coaxing series like Stranger Things and movies like La La Land off the screen and into the world with new work, artist Boryana Ilieva creates detailed illustrations of the floorplans of the buildings from her favorite shows.
Entitled ‘Floorplan Croissant’, the project takes an playfully artistic approach to taking audeinces inside the homes of their favorite characters. From Will Byers’ house (compete with strung up fairy lights) in Stranger Things to Laura Palmer’s bedroom in Twin Peaks, Ilieva uses watercolor to bring the architectural plans to life.
