In Letná, Prague, the Dvojka Wine Bar has the opposite look of any other wine bar you’ve come to expect. Instead of leather couches and zinc countertops, the creative space is overwhelmingly white, from the reclaimed industrial-chic furniture to its brick walls. Designed Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus, the immaculate space references the owner’s love for art, peppered with influences of industrial and punk.

A huge industrial worker’s table – painted white, of course – dominates the compact space, surrounded by reclaimed stools. The only accents on the white-painted brick walls are neon signs and the odd colorful artwork, eye-catching pops of color in a sea of white. And while a stark, minimalist space such as this one would normally exude a formal vibe, the Dvojka Wine Bar feels homey and welcoming: the perfect place for friends, conversation, and a glass of wine.
